West Hills Animal Emergency and Critical Care Center

The Animal Emergency & Critical Care Center at West Hills offers full-service pet emergency care, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our Emergency Veterinarians assess each patient to determine the severity of their problem and initiate stabilization, rapid diagnosis and medical treatment. Our Veterinarians are experienced in treating all types of pet emergencies, including:

In some situations your pet is treated and gets to go home on the very same day; however, there are occasions when a pet must be admitted for further assessment. If your pet needs to be hospitalized they can remain in our care or be transferred to your primary doctor the following day (if available and medically appropriate).

Our critical care team will continuously update you on your pet’s condition should your pet need to stay at our facility, as well as update and provide you regular Veterinarian with all of your pet’s medical records. We will recommend following up with your regular Veterinarian when your pet is discharged.

Our emergency and critical care center is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment to provide our Veterinarians with immediate access to test results. These results, along with your pet’s complete medical record, are provided to your family Veterinarian as soon as your pet is admitted or discharged.
